I have always struggled with appetizers and beyond a veggie or fruit tray I never knew what to make. I wanted to find something a bit different that everyone would love and boy did I find it. These bacon wrapped dates are so amazing! The smokey bacon goes great with the sweet date and the crunchy almond just makes them perfection. I love that they are naturally gluten free and most important so easy to make!

Bacon Wrapped Dates

These are the perfect appetizer! The smoky bacon and sweet dates with the crunchy almond all come together for one perfect bite.
Ingredients
- 30-35 pitted dates
- 30-35 salted roasted almonds
- 1 pound bacon, cut in half
- 30-35 toothpicks
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.2. Stuff each date with 1 almond.3. Wrap each date with half a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.4. Bake, turning the dates halfway through so the bacon is evenly cooked, 15-18 minutes. 5. Serve warm or at room temperature.
