Gluten Free Makeup Review
So when you think about gluten free, food most likely pops into your head. There is so much more though that can be associated with gluten free. A lot of times with Celiac Disease, you need to be careful with not only what you put in your body but what you put on the outside as well. I think this is especially important with lip balms and lip sticks. When they are on your lips, they can be easily ingested and if you are using a lip stick with gluten in it, it can be a disaster. You could be super strict on your gluten free diet but still be getting sick. Trying to read labels on makeup can be so frustrating and kind of like trying to read a foreign language. It is hard to decipher what is actually gluten free and what might have gluten in it. Well, I found a company that takes all of the frustration out of buying makeup. Red Apple Lipstick is an amazing company that has a line of completely gluten free makeup.
The next product that I wanted to try was a lipstick. I LOVE lipstick. I love to play with different colors and I just think it can change your whole look, depending on what color you are wearing. I am also super picky when it comes to lipstick. A lot of them will dry your lips out but not Red Apple Lipstick. It is super soft and supple and light on your lips. There is not a gunky feeling and I didn't even notice it was on my lips. They stayed soft the whole day and even though it isn't a long wear lipstick, I never had to reapply the whole day. I even ate dinner with it on and it still looked great. I got the color Appley Ever After which was such a beautiful shade of red. I love a good red lipstick and this is my new favorite color. It is such a pretty color and would look amazing on lots of different skin tones.
